New Delhi: ASK Property Investment Advisors, a private equity firm has invested Rs 147 crore in the real estate company ATS Group’s housing project which is being developed in Gurgaon.ASK Property Investment Advisor CEO and Managing Director Amit Bhagat said today, “We have invested Rs 147 crore in the ATS Group’s housing project in Gurgaon. The investment has been made by way of structured instrument and equity.” Bhagat also said, “This is our second investment in ATS Group. We had invested Rs 50 crore in their Noida project. We have already exited from that project.”ASK Property’s apparent trust in the ATS Group’s assured performance stems from the fact that the project which is being developed consists of 500 flats and will require investments of Rs 500 crore to be developed. But the expected sales realization is about Rs 1000 crore which means a major gain for the investors. The present property is also being expected to be in high demand as the 11.5 acre land parcel is strategically located on the Dwarka-Gurgaon Expressway.The ASK Property Investment Advisors has made the investment from its second fund. Amit Bhagat said, “The size of the first fund was Rs 317 crore, which has been fully deployed. From the second fund of Rs 1,000 crore, we have committed about Rs 500 crore.”This is the company’s 5th investment from its second fund and 12th investment on a whole. From the second fund the company has made investments in Rajesh Builders and Godrej Properties both of which are in Mumbai and two investments in Bangalore with Shriram Properties and Mantri Developers.ATS group is a Noida based real estate development company. ASK Property Investment Advisors is a Mumbai based group that provides financial services such as portfolio management services (PMS), real estate PMS and wealth advice.
