Aurangabad: In a move to imitate the Mumbai model of property tax system, as per the suggestion of the state government, the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is conceptualizing to introduce the new capital value-based property tax system in the city. And as always, the builders and other bosses of the city have stood strong in the opposition block.Previously the calculation of property tax was based on only carpet area and the location of property didn’t mattered at all. But if the new system will be given nod then the property tax will be based on the cost of the property which is majorly on the basis of location. The personnel of the state government are on the way of calculating the exact change in tax rates.Approximately there are about 1.76 lakh registered properties in Aurangabad according to the municipal body. This year, the civic body has already collected more than Rs 11 crore of property tax. New teams are geared up to scrutiny newer properties that have been constructed recently. These properties will be included in the list and all others who were escaping the tax will be fined. This year’s aim is of Rs 100 cr. Last year the corporation had collected about Rs 74 crore. Looking at the amount of expansion of real estate, the expectation is not unreal. The officials have acquired the training for the implementation of capital value based system in Pune and by its application the benefits of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) can also be availed. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
