New Delhi: During the last Financial Year 2012-13, the sales booking of one of the leading real estate companies of India, Omaxe went up by 55% as the company sold more area at higher rate.The real estate firm in a market analyst presentation said that, in comparison to its last fiscal year sales assessment where for Rs. 1,526 crore, 8.83 million sq ft area was sold, this year the company have seen sales of worth Rs. 2,373 crore for 11.39 sq ft area.The real estate company is into development of both residential as well as commercial projects. According to the sources, out of the total sales value of Rs.2,373 crore, Omaxe have recorded sales bookings worth Rs. 493 crore for commercial segment and Rs. 1,880 crore for residential projects which includes build-up area and plots too. The company has marked its presence across 30 cities in 9 states. Omaxe is constructing 19 integrated townships, 13 group housing projects and 9 commercial malls.Previous year, the company’s net profit was Rs. 90 crore whereas in the fiscal year 2012-13, the net profit has been increased by 17% to Rs.106 crore.
