Chennai: A report from Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) about the heritage buildings that comes near the metro line has been asked by the Chennai Corporation Council. However CMRL is delaying to deliver full reports on it. The report should contain the structural data that are necessary to be understood by the authorities of municipal corporation in order assess the impact of vibration on those buildings. It’s been 11 months; the corporation is asking the reports. It is necessary because heritage buildings like Ripon Buildings and Victoria Public Hall can’t be risked in the metro construction and must be kept in a safe condition. Several reminders have been made to CMRL for the reports but nothing has come and the Mayor has said that the corporation is waiting for it.The unusual point here is if the metro rail authority is collecting the data on monthly basis then what is the problem in sharing it the officials of corporation. CMRL has claimed that they have collected the data by using high-end instruments that include rod extension meter, ground settlement meter, building settlement marker, inclinometer, tilt meter, crack meter, optical target and tape extension meter. The data measured is immaculate and would help in protecting the heritage buildings, adds CMRL.Reports will tell about surface cracks and joints, vertical settlement, soil properties and small changes from horizontal level necessary to be studied to make sure the heritage of the city remains protected and unaffected.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
