Vadodara: A real estate conclave regarding legal, accounting and taxation aspects in the real estate is to be held on Saturday. The full day program is organized by the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai).Developers, builders and contractors are having many complications concerning various provisions, numerous amendments if direct or indirect tax laws. The conclave will be helpful to clear their doubts and concerns regarding legal, accounting and taxation aspects.Ashish Parikh, chairman of the Baroda branch of WIRC of ICAI said that the program is organized to make developers, builders and contractors understand rights, duties and accountability under different tax system for the respective business model adopted by them. The program will create clarity of taxation issues regarding real estate business.Eminent personalities of the chartered accountancy profession as well as some other personalities will address the conclave. Some of the tax authorities coming for this conclave include the commissioner of income tax, service tax and G-VAT which will clarify the doubts of the developers, builders and contractors.Parekh also added that the program will be an opportunity for CAs, CFOs, CEOs, executive and accountants working in the real estate sector.
