The revenue too improved by marking Rs 262 crore. Areas other than Wakad that generated most permission are Pimple Nilakh, Chinchwad, Pimpri and Bhosari.The closeness of Wakad and Pimple Nilakh with these Bus Rapid Transit routes: Nashik Phata-Wakad, Aundh-Ravet and Kalewadi Phata-Dehu Alandi road, are again a major factor here in the mushrooming of buildings. Also the BRT corridor (under construction) is expected to influence the area very much.
