Recession Causes Dip in Grant of CLUs by Government

recessionChandigarh:  The real estate sector in Haryana seems to be observing a slump. The economic downturn has shaken the budget-friendly realty market in Haryana which had led to unparalleled urban development across the state. There is a quick drop in the number of Change Land Uses (CLUs) in Haryana from past two years.According to a report, in 2010, the government had granted CLUs for 3,145 acres of land for residential, commercial and industrial sector, in 2011 it was 2,341 acres. In 2012 the number of CLUs granted declined to 2,128 acres of land. Year 2007 and 2008 observed maximum number of grants that were 3,851 acres and 3,361 acres respectively. The sudden downfall in the real estate market is mainly due to the recession. Numerous projects which were commenced during the year 2007 and 2008 after attaining the CLUs did not reach the completion stage due to the fall in CLUs granted by the government.According to a Senior Government Official, the ongoing projects are taking their own time to reach the completion stage; therefore the standstill in realty sector is unsurprising. There were also alleged statements passed saying that the government permitted grant of CLUs for over 22,000 acres of land because they wanted to give concessions to the renowned real estate developers. On the other hand there are lakhs of people who are still hoping for the regularization of their housing units. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
