The launches of new projects and discounts offered by the real estate developers have resulted in increase number of sales.According to a report, Most of the renowned realty builders have launched affordable projects and are also offering discounts and schemes to attract the customers which have in turn lifted the volume of sales.In Gurgaon, the developers are concentrating on completing the stock clearances therefore this has resulted in decelerate of sales and even the escalating prices have led to slowdown in sales.Over past 10 years, the property prices in Mumbai are noticing an unprecedented rise which have valued at CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of 14 %. It is necessary to correct the price appreciation and should be brought under control in next 2 to 3 years. The controlled pricing policy will allow smooth economy as the property rates would match to the income- level.The report also added that since 2008, Bangalore have seen highest number residential sales in a quarter. This is mainly due to the outbreak of new housing projects due to the occurrence of auspicious occasion of Ugadi (local New Year) in April. Most of the homebuyers invest in properties during this propitious season. In past ten years, property prices in this city have escalated by 8.5% of CAGR. Apart from this, the soaring job opportunities and the raise in the salaries this year have augmented the sales in Bangalore.On the other hand, Noida which tops the list of cost-effective Tier I cities in India, witnesses a downfall in property sales. The rate of absorption seems to be economical and since 2010, the stock of projects is mounting. The sale in Noida and Greater Noida is expected to hold back as the developers will be under pressure for timely completion of projects rather than concentrating on sales.
