Pune-Ready for Warehousing Real Estate

warehouseLogistics and warehousing is an industry that is slowly but steadily growing in India. Though it has a modest marketing for now but in the near future it is expected to grow exponentially across the country’s biggest logistic centers. Government of India is also lending momentum to the logistics sector in various forms. Enhancement of the sector is helped by foreign investments through private equity, acquisitions and mergers. All these factors coupled with the expected revival in the Indian economy will definitely bring about the development of the logistics and warehousing industry of India. Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Gurgaon are among the most popular logistic centers across the country. Due to Pune’s strategic positioning and good infrastructure this is one city that is fast coming up in the list of preferred logistics hubs.In Pune, Talegaon and Chakan, both of which are located on the NH4, are the much preferred locations for manufacturing companies. Due to the presence of manufacturing companies it is only natural that this micro market is in great demand for warehousing space. Some of the biggest warehouses are the 40,000 sq ft warehouse being developed by Renault Nissan and 16-acre multimodal logistics and industrial park constructed by KSH Distri parks at MIDC Talegaon.Another large scale warehousing project is being constructed by IndoSpace in Chakan. It is park that will be spread across an area of 100 acres and will be constructed in several phases. Each phase will consist of 0.4 million sq ft of space. After the completion of all these phases the park will have a total built-up area of 1.7 million sq ft spread across 8 buildings. Mercedes Benz is planning to construct around 0.15 million sq ft warehouse, construction work has began on a 50-acre industrial park at Ranjangaon. It is being jointly developed by the Kohinoor Group and the Panchshil Group.Demand levels for warehousing space in Eastern and Northern parts of Pune are expected to rise in the near future due to the prospects of the area. But there is a lack of land in these regions. Therefore the price of properties will continue to rise. Areas like Pimpri and Chinchwad in spite of having good connectivity and infrastructure do not have much of a prospect as markets for developing warehousing as warehouses units in these places have to pay Octroi duties. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
