The purpose of this board was to generate and supply power to the areas of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. The Delhi Board was further divided into six successor companies. One of them is the BSES (Bombay Suburban Electric Supply).&nbsp;<strong>BSES in Delhi:<\/strong><strong><\/strong> In July 2002, the power distribution business was transferred to BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) and BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL). As per the terms and conditions mentioned in the Transfer Scheme, the company acquired the assets, liabilities, proceedings, personnel of the Delhi Vidyut Board.
