Earlier, this area had a number of restrictions with the commercial projects<\/a>, which were imposed by the Airport Authority of India. Now that the airport has been shifted to Shamshabad, the restrictions have vanished, thus giving a rise to the commercial developments. The commercial spaces here include popular names like Shopper\u2019s Stop, Pantaloons, five star hotel Vivanta (Taj Group) and so on. Earlier, the construction of the buildings here was limited upto two floors. Now it has been increased to five floors. Begumpet is well-connected with the other locations of Hyderabad.A number of people are investing in commercial properties in Begumpet. The rental price for commercial spaces in Begumpet ranges from Rs.41-47 per sq ft. per month.
