I personally believe that exploring new and different places can be a refreshing experience. Let me take you to one such place called Narayangaon. By name it may look like just another village of India. Yes it is a small place in Junnar Taluka of Pune District in the state of Maharashtra. You must be thinking what is the use of going in an ordinary village and how can I be revive visiting it? It is not an ordinary place. Narayangaon is a small town famous for nature\u2019s bliss and its beautiful spread of wine yards. This place is blessed by nature because it is surrounded by five Dams, the Western Ghats, and Sahyadri Mountain Range. When there are mountains, rivers, and cool breeze of pollution free environs then what else one would ask for?There is a giant Metre wave Radio Telescope situated approximately 8 kilometres in the West of Narayangaon. \u00a0It may be something new to you and your kids to see first time. Narayangaon is famous for its sugarcane and grape production. It is one of the major exporters of table grapes to Middle East and Europe. Champagne India Pvt. Limited is situated near Narayangaon. The Chateau Indage Champagne Factory is known as the largest grape wine factory in Asia. The vineyards here are so inviting that no one can resist touching them. The ripe fruits of these yards are the testiest and the cool breeze of Sahyadri Mountains passing through these green creepers can let you inhale the freshest of the fragrances coming from ripe fruits. It is awesome to experience nature\u2019s burst here. The surrounding dams make this place more attractive and cool. The soil is really good and productive here. You can get very good quality tomatoes and onions here apart from sugarcane and grapes. Apart from wine industry, there are sugar factories, dairy plant and some other industries. Approximately there are 40 small and big industries in this region that gives ample employment opportunities to the village people to earn their living.Narayngaon is also popular for its very own folk art proudly called \u201cTamash\u201d. It is very old form of folk art. A well known artist of Tamasha folk art, Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, had received an award from the president for her contribution to the Folk Art. She resided in Narayangaon only. Today she is no more today but lives in the hearts of every person of Narayangaon. The bullock cart race in the parts of Narayangaon takes place on the occasion of Jatras.There is Ram Mandir in Narayangaon which was built in Peshwas time. It was gifted to the Brahman Sangh in the year 1990. It is renovated and turned into a prestigious holy place which is visited by many devotees every year on the occasion of Ramnavmi. It is now the pride of Naraygaon and a place to remember. \u00a0It is the complete package for young as well as old because there are places like vineyards as well as temples to please both the generations. The two important Lord Ganesh temples are in close proximity to this place. Lord Ganesh is the most worshiped god in Maharashtra. There are eight different Ganesh are situated in different places. They are known as Ashtavinayak Ganpatis. \u00a0 Two of them are situated near Narayangaon named Shri Girijatmak of Lenyadri and the second one is Vighnahar of Ozar. The first one is located at just 17 kilometres in the North- West and the second one is located at 10 kilometres in the North of Narayangaon. The Ozar Ganesh is soon becoming the number one Devasthan trust among the eight Ashtavinayak. Due to its importance this place of god is being developed and lot of standard and VIP facilities have come up to facilitate visitors and devotees. Another reason to visit Narayangaon is to see your favourite king\u2019s place of birth.
