According to the report released by the recognized property consultant, Knight Frank, the real estate market of MMR witnessed sudden fall in apartment sales by 9% in 2014 whereas other prime cities like Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad and NCR saw highest sales. The count of unsold flats in all these cities was 6.47 lakh while MMR alone had 2.04 lakh flats that were unsold.The chief economist of Knight Frank notified that however the condition likely improved in second half of 2014. The sales increased in 2014 by 3,800 flats as compared to the same period in 2013. This eventually reduced the inventory of unsold properties. The market is expected to improve further in next 6 months as per their estimate.According to the report, the residential prices positively increased in all the cities. Mumbai witnessed maximum rise in price. In second half of 2014, MMR saw Weighted Average Price of Rs. 7,800 per sq ft.NCR witnessed lowest price rise where WAP increased to Rs. 4,444 per sq ft from Rs. 4,330 per sq ft.The number of sales in all the 6 cities dropped by 17 % last year and the volume of new launches also fell by 28%.In case of commercial properties, considering the diminishing and controlled supply pipeline, business districts in Bandra Kurla Complex and Central Mumbai is expected to witness increase in the rent.<span style=\"left:100%;display:inline-block;position:fixed\"><a href=\"http:\/\/rusbankinfo.ru\/\">\u0437\u0430\u0439\u043c \u043d\u0430 \u043a\u0430\u0440\u0442\u0443 \u0431\u0435\u0437 \u043e\u0442\u043a\u0430\u0437\u043e\u0432 \u043a\u0440\u0443\u0433\u043b\u043e\u0441\u0443\u0442\u043e\u0447\u043d\u043e<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/rusbankinfo.ru\/credits.html\">\u0432\u0437\u044f\u0442\u044c \u043a\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0438\u0442 \u043e\u043d\u043b\u0430\u0439\u043d<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mumbai: The housing market of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) is likely to show signs of improvement in coming months.
