Since, Indore is predominantly a business town, latest technologies and expansion of national and international industries have further transformed this city in leaps and bounds. Due to the industrial development, people find Indore as a favorable destination for investment.The city brags off good number of automobile, cotton, cement, pharmaceutical, soya, plastic and packaging industries. Apart from these well-established industries, Indore has currently evolved as IT major of central India. Leading IT companies like Infosys, TCS have already laid their foundation and is expected to start operating soon.\u00a0 According to the sources, the main reason for industrial revolution is the global fame received by the city due to investor-friendly commercial plans offered by government, solid infrastructure facilities, presence of competent manpower and harmonious work environment.The timely-honored textile manufacturing and trading industries have contributed well to the economy of Indore, however along with this, the real estate sector also seem to improve the economic condition of this city.<strong>Diverse growth strategy:<\/strong>Indore Development Authority decided to develop a prime residential hub which would be located in between the Ring Road and Bypass road.\u00a0 Indore is now expected to expand on Super Corridor. This well-planned corridor at one end is connected to the International airport while on the other end, it is connected to 4-lane Ujjain road. Super corridor is meticulously planned by concentrating on the terms of master plan. The key objective behind the development of this corridor is to boost transit facilities. Connectivity would be further enhanced with the proposed bus terminus and railway station along the corridor. The plan offers to come up with BRTs at all necessary points on corridor.<strong>Boon of IT and educational sector:<\/strong>Apart from the conventional industrial sectors, IT and educational zones are also flourishing in Indore. As mentioned before, emergence of prominent IT companies like TCS and Infosys has opened up ample of job opportunities. Evolution of Crystal IT Park and Electronic Complex has considerably revolutionized the IT sector which in turn has improved the industrial segment. The other IT parks and Special Economic Zones present in the city are IT Park Pardeshipura, Infosys SEZ, TCS SEZ and Impetus SEZ. Collabera is also planning to mark its presence in Indore.Indore also boasts renowned educational institutes like IIT and IIM.\u00a0 Other major educational institutions like Symbiosis University and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management are also all set to lay their foundation in Indore.\u00a0 Each of these educational centers will be constructed on 25 acre of land on Super Corridor which can turn out to be employment hub in future. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya also known as the University of Indore is a long established and reputed university which has numerous colleges operating under its authority.The enhancement of industrial sector will also boost the residential segment.
