\"conservation-zone\"<\/a>There is good news for the environmental activists of the national capital region. The government which had last year decided to eliminate the restriction on the construction activities in conservation zones, have now again revised the plan. As per the new plan presented by NCR and sub-regional plan of Haryana, no tourism activity and only limited construction will be taken place in natural conservation zones (NCZs). Aravalis, riverbeds and prominent water bodies comes under the conservation zones.According to the sources, all the parties are ready to include particular changes in the construction plan as per the suggestion made by the Ministry of Environment and Forests to preserve ecologically sensitive zones. As compared to the minutes of the last year\u2019s meeting, major changes will be made in the plan. The provisions related to the construction activities in the natural conversations zones will be altered before the plan gets notified. According to an official, the revised will not state any sort of clause or exception that will permit construction above 0.5%.According to the report presented by the NCRPB, green zones and water bodies which covered over quarter of the Delhi\u2019s area was wiped out for the development and rapid urbanization of NCR.Once, Haryana agrees to make revision in its sub-regional plan, there in no other choice but to agree with the plan. If they fail to follow the plan then NCRPB would be sending objections.
