This scenario has resulted in stable demand for residential as well as commercial properties in the city.According to a research report presented by the globally recognized, property consultant, Cushman &amp; Wakefield, private equity investments in Pune real estate sector recovered with 300% increase to Rs. 1,464 crore in the year 2013. The report further added that with the increasing demand for housing properties, investments in correct project have the potential to get good returns.As per the report, one of the major factors for the rise in the private equity influx is the escalating investments taking place in residential properties as well as in retail and hospitality sector. As compared 2012 where the number of deals was 34, in 2013 the number went up to 40. Apart from this participation of real estate investment trusts (REITs), reduced financial shortfall and probability of fall in inflation are the other factors that have influenced the private investors.According to the head and chairman of another renowned real estate consultant, JLL, the mass of young and knowledgeable Indians are all set to turn India into a talent powerhouse. An increasing number of middle class consumers are coming online. Till 2030, the country population in all prime and upcoming cities will drastically increase.
