Though the 70s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/ramot-polin-housing-complex-beehive-design-concept\/\">beehive housing<\/a> project did not gain much acclamation but this sky-piercing commercial tower with honeycomb structure in China has already won a lot of attention, even before its launch. The Great Wall of China being one of the Seven Wonders of the World has already proved that China is nowhere behind in awe-inspiring architectural work, now even the modern structures are becoming the highlights of this country. Sinosteel International Plaza has become an outstanding new milestone of the newly formed business hub of North China, Tinajin. The building construction started in 2008 and is likely to get completed by this year-end. China is pushing ahead in technology and innovation and this latest structure is a great example of innovation blended with technology.The organic and futuristic structure of Sino- Steel Tower is designed by the reputed architecture company based in Beijing, MAD Studio. The entire tower is integrated with hexagonal glass facades that replicate a honeycomb. The project boasts two identical looking towers of different heights, one 358 metres high, office tower and the other is a small hotel building of 88 metres. The small building looks like a cube next to this high rise tower. The bold design of this building is refreshing and unusual, unlike the typical glass covered, straight commercial plazas.<strong>Project specification:<\/strong>The geometric hexagon shaped facades makes these commercial towers look distinct from the usual buildings. The honeycomb fa\u00e7ade is the main highlighting feature of the Sino-Steel Tower. The structural design is quite simple yet appealing. The honeycomb design makes this tower energy-efficient. The structure is constructed in such a way that maximum air flows and even solar energy is generated. The glass windows are sized differently to minimize the loss of heat in winter and gain the heat in summer. The fa\u00e7ade is of five dissimilar sizes and this irregular structure eliminates the requirement of any internal feature beyond the building structure which frees the space and makes the tower more flexible. Few of the windows of this tower are in crimson color which results in transformation of appearance with the changing sun light during the day time. The two towers consist of modern offices, posh hotels and service apartments. It is a classy solution for the commercial development in this newly redeveloped city. The project is a wonderful combination of strength and elegance. This new urban landscape with green solutions stands apart in this concrete jungle of the city.The building stands tough on the verdant landscape surrounded with water.The interior of the Sino-Steel Tower is also incredible with splendid four high-sky atrium with just a little d\u00e9cor.
