Due to the political instability, the city had witnessed a downfall in real estate sector however the sales are likely to pick up this year, once the uncertainties gets sorted off.As per the report presented by this property consultant, there was a minor dip in the absorption level with around 16,500 housing units being absorbed in 2013. Even new launches were dropped in 2013 by 15%, as in 2012 there were total 19,000 units launched whereas in 2013, it dipped to 16,200 units. However, the fall in new launches has helped to balance the level of unsold inventory in the city.Even other cities had witnessed drop in sales in 2013 but as compared to them Hyderabad saw a bit much fall in sales.
