Visakapatnam, well known as Vizag, holds huge future prospect, having a beautiful golden coastline with lone natural harbor on the Eastern India. Spilling over demand for commercial and residential properties in Vizag has provided a wave of development in southern part of the city. Gajuwaka is one of such locations of southern Vizag which has observed tremendous development in the extension of Gajuwaka. Infrastructure, connectivity and proximity to large scale manufacturing plants etc have worked in the favor of the region.<b>Real Estate Scenario<\/b>Gajuwaka has attracted several developers and builders willing to set up their projects in the region. The southern Vizag has seen an upsurge in the property demand as central locations are witnessing scarcity of land parcels. Although the region is witnessing a huge demand most of it is due to the affordable prices of the properties. Properties with 2 and 3 BHK are high on stake as the major demand comes from the mid and low income groups. The area has very low township projects in the vicinity and most of them are still in their under construction stages.Demand in the region is mainly for the affordable properties and smaller properties. Builders and developers are mainly offering 2 BHK apartments ranging from 975 t o1050 sq ft while the 3 BHK apartments vary from 1250 sq ft to 1425 sq ft sizes. Property transactions observed in the region highly contain investors and buyers stack willing to invest in mid to high end segments. Developers and builders in this region are offering a number of facilities such as club houses and swimming pools etc. to attract home buyers.<b>Infrastructure and connectivity<\/b>The region has observed rapid increase in commercial settlements like shopping malls, cinema halls etc. and now it has become a focal point for commerce for adjacent villages and suburbs in south Vizag. Gajuwaka is an important transit point on the NH-5 hence transportation to this region is much easier and the government has been planning to develop better infrastructure in this region to encourage the real estate developments. Visakhapatnam Airport is situated few kilometers away from NH-5 highway providing easy access through public transport.Other than better transportation facilities, the region also serves better for recreational and physical infrastructure facilities providing a better lifestyle for the citizens residing in Gajuwaka. In the past five years, the infrastructure development in the region has started to witness positive with improvements. Announcement of three new cargo terminals, development of hospitals and retail complexes etc have improved the infrastructure of the region.<b>Future forecast<\/b>The region will observe a huge development in the future as it serves as a better alternative for affordable properties in Visakhapatnam providing easy access to prominent locations in the city. Three new cargo terminals and other similar infrastructure developments will definitely boost the real estate market of the Gajuwaka.
