The revision work over the development plan is being carried out by municipal engineers, Urban planning consultants and M\/s Groupe SCE (I) Ltd.The municipal corporation has completed a survey regarding Existing Land Use (ELU) in the year 2012 and this survey was made open to the public until March 30, 2013 so that public can comment accordingly. THe objections and suggestion received from the public were examined and accordingly replies were also uploaded on the municipal corporation\u2019s website.The study report carried out by BMC suggests division of the city and suburbs into 151 planning sectors to make it more productive for the development of the city and its suburbs. The assessment of the existing situation has been conducted at city level, ward level and at planning sector levels.The sector-wise demand for land space and floors space for various developments like housing, education, health care and recreational facilities and public services have also been included in the report. For such developments, appropriate planning standards have been considered by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/mumbai-property-tax\/\" target=\"_blank\">the BMC<\/a>.According to the ELU data, BMC has prepared a Preparatory Study Report which comprises assessment of the existing situation, growth scenario, future vision and objectives of the Development Plan for the next 20 years.
