Practising Architects Engineers and Town Planners Association (PEATA) India has recommended that the norms to procure no-objection certificate must be relaxed. The height should be increased to 150 meters or it should be made mandatory for buildings having 50 storeys. PEATA has suggested several relaxations to simplify the Development Control Regulations (DCR) 1991, which will be included and modified as part of development plan revision. The revision of the development plan will be undertaken by the BMC for 2014-34.Architect Sunil Deole suggested many changes in the norms to help it make it more clear and practical which included, a flat premium should be charged on the built up area instead of levying scrutiny fees, development charges and various other charges. He also suggested that society room, fitness centre, meter rooms, toilet facility etc. must be made mandatory while giving permission for structures.Elevation features like vertical fans, drop chajjas, arches, comices should be included in the structures instead of open balconies, decks etc. which enhance the aesthetic look of the overall structure.Few more suggestions are included such as at least one major façade of the building having length not less than one fourth of the overall building perimeter must possess easy fire engine access.Public structures like hospitals, schools, shopping malls, multiplex, auditoriums and office buildings etc. need special sort of planning to achieve permission for the construction.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн

Mumbai: The high-rise committee which gives permission for all the high rise structures in the city has declared that no-objection certificate from the panel if compulsory for the construction having height more than 70 meters.
