Numerous property buyers who want to register their properties will have to suffer through new rules of property registration as their documents are operated according to the new rules of property registration.The inspector general of registration (IGR) has ordered all sub registrars across all the districts in Pune to not to accept documents for registration from December 23 which would need to pay their stamp duty and registration fees through e-challan.The Municipal Corporation has only processed the documents which were franked before December 21. No demand drafts will be accepted by municipal offices and hereafter all payments must be done electronically. Municipal Corporation had issued circular giving guidelines regarding new rules in October and for e-payment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/property-registration-process-in-pune-maharashtra\/\" target=\"_blank\">stamp duty and registration fees <\/a>Civic body has tied up with 16 banks and further more banks will be added in the list. Property related documents which are executed and signed need to be submitted for registration process within 120 days from its execution.Numerous property buyers are going to suffer from the hike in the government rates for registration and stamp duty as revised rates will applicable from January 1<sup>st<\/sup> 2014. The revised rates will increase the valuation of properties by about 5 to 20 per cent and further associated stamp duty and registration fees has to be paid while registering the document.This new rule system has put many buyers in a bind as they are confused of how to pay their stamp duty and registration.
