Especially the commercial real estate of the city is on an expansion spree. Reputed IT companies have gone hunting for office spaces in Bangalore. This has taken the demand for real estate to sky heights over the last quarter. The IT sector will be seeing a buzz of productive activities in the coming year. Sources reveal that there will be a sharp growth in business for the Software firms which will tend to diversify its investment in real estate. The quality of service delivered by the IT firms is expected to enhance in coming times. Therefore the companies will have to expand to accommodate the growing IT population. IT giants like Accenture and many others have began their hunt for office spaces in the outskirts of Bangalore.The commercial market has seen a saturation of space absorption. Established companies are planning to expand their existing spaces to pull in a larger workforce. Few others have opted to move out of the city and occupy even larger spaces.Cisco has acquired around half a million sq. ft of office space as an extension to its existing occupancy. Adobe has purchased 2.5 lakh sq. ft spaces in Bangalore’s Platina Tech Park.
