\"commercial-india\"<\/a>Pune: <\/b>Third quarter of the year <\/b>showed fall <\/b>in occupier as well as investor sentiments which resulted in decreased demand of the properties in commercial real estate of India. The RICS India Commercial Property Survey has stated that the demand of the occupiers has reduced during the third quarter of the current fiscal year in most of the prominent cities of India.According to the RICs survey the Occupier Sentiment Index (OSI) for India fell deep into negative points during the period of the third quarter. The second quarter OSI was observed to be at -1 point whereas the third quarter OSI reached as low as -22 points. The downfall of this OSI was a result of a drop in occupier demand in the country.RICS South Asia managing director, Sachin Sandhir said that the decrease in occupier demand was caused due to various aspects like lower sales, cash flow crunch, high cost labour and inflation which made occupiers more cautious about their investments in the commercial real estate<\/a>.The weakness in the commercial real estate market is fairly divided in all the sub markets retail real estate, industrial real estate and office market. The fall of investment index has also influenced the sentiment of the occupiers.
