International Airport and Ring Road which is under planning stage from many years has the potential to boost the real estate market of the city.The second most prominent city of Maharashtra, Pune comprises of many industries and globally recognized companies, therefore setting up an international airport is very essential to carry out international trade. The city is also home to many educational and spiritual centers which attracts a lot of foreigners. Most of the Pune residents also travel to other countries. Initially, the airport was said to be developed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/chakan-affordable-alternative-pune\/\">Chakan<\/a> but due to the issues related to land acquisition, the state government has decided to set up the international airport off Pune-Nasik Highway. This extensive project will require 4,500 acres of land. The new proposed location will need a large piece of land which comes under the Special Economic Zone (SEZ).On the other hand, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has decided to come up with a new infrastructure project to reduce the traffic congestion and divert it to the city outskirts. Like Bangalore, even Pune\u2019s Ring Road aims to improve the connectivity and lead to development.The proposed Ring road will be of 162 kms and will connect various areas like Wakad,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/investment-opportunities-in-baner-pune\/\"> Baner<\/a>, Chandni Chowk, Katraj, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Alandi, Pashan etc. This infrastructural development will also allow to divert the traffic which goes through Nasik, Solapur and Ahmednagar.
