Among these you also have the choice of selecting a peaceful and serene place or a very popular destination. The choice is yours. If you are thinking about a beach that is not frequented by many people and should be in close vicinity then let me take you to a beach which is not only pristine and tranquil but also offers the panoramic views of surroundings. You will not regret a bit after visiting this beach as it is located quite close to a very popular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/picnic-spots-near-mumbai\/\" target=\"_blank\">picnic spot near Mumba<\/a>i and Pune known as Alibaug. Alibaug is located at a distance of 93 kilometres from the city of Mumbai and about 140 kilometres from Pune city. The beach I am talking about is not Alibaug but located on the outskirts of Alibaug and thus reaching this beach is not at all difficult for anyone. This magnificent beach is called Versoli Beach situated in a small satellite village of Versoli.Though both the beaches Alibaug and Versoli are located close to each other but the difference is vast. On one side Alibaug is visited by thousands of tourists annually but Versoli Beach is kind of quiet one as it is not visited by that large number of people. Versoli Beach is cleaner than Alibaug Beach because of less number of people come here. I personally feel that Versoli Beach is much better than Alibaug because you get to enjoy the serene atmosphere here along with the unspoiled silvery white soft sandy beach side. The sea seems at its best here. There are no words to explain the splendid views of sunset and sunrise from this beach.The\u00a0 best part of this place is that here you get to indulge in nature with the musical rhythm of sea waves and can get the perfect setting to meditate in spite of being so close to a popular and crowded destination. The clean and clear water of sea shore makes you feel pleasant from inside. Your senses get soothing experience when the cool breeze coming from sea side touches you. There is a large Naval base at this place. The village of Versoli is also quite attractive. You find here the thick vegetation of Coconut as well as Casuarinas. I personally feel that you must visit this unspoiled and peaceful beach once and enjoy the white sparkling sand of the beach and clean water of sea with your family and friends. It can be a perfect weekend getaway from Mumbai or Pune if you want a peaceful but pleasant time.You may not find good hotels here but if you want to extend your stay then you can go to Alibaug where several hotels, resorts as well as rented accommodations are available to choose from.
