Customers who have invested in such projects are getting furious due to this holdup.Delay in the projects has led to significant increase in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/24729-builders-offer-festival-discounts-and-freebies-to-clear-the-inventory\/\">inventory <\/a>levels across India. The CEO further added that the delay in the project delivery is mainly due to poor project management, lack of funds from developer\u2019s side for the completion of the project, delay in the regulatory approvals and lack of commitment on the part of developers. Out of the average delayed housing projects, more than 25% of the committed projects did not hit the market on the fixed date.Across all the major cities in India, NCR stands as the poorest performer in terms of delay in delivery of projects. Out of the total committed supplies in Gurgaon for 2013, only one-third has been delivered rest are still under process. As compared to other regions, the western part of India has performed quiet well. As per the scheduled delivery, Pune and Mumbai have delivered more than 40% of the committed projects of 2013.JLL India said that the Pan India stock of residential projects is now much above the standard level of 14 to 15 months. Mumbai has an inventory of around 48 months followed by Bangalore of 25 months and Delhi of 23 months.
