With an intention to clear a large portion of inventory, real estate developers are coming up with new schemes and festive offers. Over past few quarters, huge number of unsold projects got piled-up due to the economic slowdown and high interests. The accumulation of the unsold units has adversely affected the cash flow and launch of new projects.During September to December, array of real estate projects are launched in India as buyers find festival season auspicious for property investment. However correction in property prices is not expected during this period. Some projects have not altered their prices while some have increased marginally. Developers would plan their sales carefully due to the slowdown factor.To boost up the sales, most of the developers are planning to offer several gifts, discounts and other schemes which would attract the customers. Open cash discounts, zero brokerage, cash-back on monthly rentals, customization, free parking and club services, gold coins at the time of booking are some of the common schemes offered by the realtors.Developers in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai have already declared giveaways for their projects. Keeping in view, the major fall in the sale of Mumbai properties<\/a>, renowned realtors like Lodha Group<\/a>, Mantri Realty have declared discounts. Lodha is offering Rs. 2 lakh discount on booking of its project, Lodha Elite in Dombivali while Mantri decided to gift 100 gm of gold for bookings that take place till September 18 for its project, Serene in Goregaon.According to the chairman of CREDAI<\/a>, this is best time to attract the customers.
