The developers of this project may have to rework on their floor plan as the civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has ordered that the areas exempt from the Worli Naka building\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/what-is-fsi\/\">Floor Space Index (FSI)<\/a> has to be included. Public interest litigation suspected that the skyscraper building had committed some breaches including construction above the floor space index.According to a report, the construction plan which was approved by BMC, seven years ago did not include swimming pool area, refuge areas, passages and structural columns in their FSI. The under-construction residential tower of 320m was involved in legal action due to these construction violations. Floor Space Index is the ratio which decides that how much can be built on a particular piece of land\/plot.One of the senior officials said that the municipal commissioner\u2019s order indirectly pointed that the total built up area of the tower could be decreased by about 30%.The spokesperson of the developer of Palais Royale said that the firm has currently received the order and would look for legal opinion. He added that the company has followed all the law and orders. The order seems to be in total defiance of the Bombay High Court decision and completely ignores the order of the civil court. The spokesperson said that they are confident that the judiciary will support the rule of law.When the construction work was stopped, the building had already reached 56 floors.
