Eastern freeway is the part of the infrastructural developments in Mumbai like Metro-Mono rails, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/22595-impact-of-mumbai-trans-harbour-link\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Road<\/a>, and Sahar Elevated Road which creating a foundation for making Mumbai the world class city.<b>Insights of Eastern Freeway<\/b>The eastern freeway is spreads over the 16.8 km stretch connecting P D\u2019Mello Road from south Mumbai to the Eastern Express Highway at Ghatkopar. The overall construction cost of this crucial and ambitious project is estimated at Rs 1250 crore which is finded by the Central Governemnt via Jawaharlal Nehru Nationa Urban Renewel Mission (JNNURM) and<b> <\/b>built by Mumbai Metro Politan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). <b>\u00a0<\/b>The Eastern Freeway is divided in three parts<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The corridor connecting Orange gate and beginning of the Anik-Panjarpol Link Road (9.29 Km stretch)<\/li>\n<li>The corridor from Anik to the Beginning of the Panjatpol-Ghatkopar Link Road (4.3 Km stretch)<\/li>\n<li>The corridor connecting Paranjpol to Ghatkopar (2.81 Km stretch)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The eastern freeway will provide signal free and faster connectivity with Eastern suburbs of the city from the central Mumbai. The predominant improvement in the traffic will be seen in the regions like Chembur, Sion, and Dadar etc. The connectivity for the travelers traveling towards Thane-Nashik and Panvel-Pune-Goa will be much easier from the South Mubai.<b>Facts of Eastern Freeway<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The<b> <\/b>first part of the eastern corridor connecting Orange Gate on P D\u2019mello road to the Mahu creek salt pan situated between Anik and Chembur is the city\u2019s longest flyover.
