The petition has pointed out that the rampant concretization of the city is raising temperature of the city as well as preventing rain water from being absorbed into the soil. The concretization of Ghaziabad, which is not being properly overlooked or controlled by any of the authorities, is causing the rise in levels of atmospheric carbon levels in Ghaziabad. Carbon and other greenhouse gases which cause global warming are to be kept under check at all times to prevent the earth from reaching the critical point where it can be potentially destroyed. But the rampant development of buildings in Ghaziabad is undermining the issue. Disappearance of open soil areas in the city due to construction and tiling is preventing rainwater from reaching the subsoil levels. This is leading to a decrease in underground water level as well as wastage of 90% of the rain water. Concretization is not only killing the existing plants, it is also fast eliminating any chance of planting new tree saplings.Notices have also been issued to the National Disaster Management Authority, the Union Environment Ministry and the UP government. The notices have been issued by the principal bench of NGT which is headed by Justice Swatanter Kumar.<span style=\"left:100%;display:inline-block;position:fixed\"><a
