Both the country government will contribute equally for the project development. The project will prove to be a major boost to the infrastructure as well as industrial sector of our country. The industrial corridor will cover 6 prime investment states, right from North to West. The industrial belt will be passing through Uttar Pradesh, National Capital Region of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Apart from the expansion of the industrial segment even the infrastructure modes like rail, road, port and air connectivity are likely to improve along this corridor. This ambitious project is anticipated to increase the employment opportunities within the industrial zone and also intensify the export within the span of five years. The project has a huge potential to attract the foreign investments.<strong>Project Specification:<\/strong>With the colossal budget of USD 90 billion, this industrial project is spread across 1483 kms from Delhi to Mumbai. The corridor length will be distributed among the 6 states like Rajasthan- 39%, Gujarat- 38%, Haryana and Maharashtra about 10% each, Uttar Pradesh- 1.5% and NCR of Delhi- 7.5%. The project comprises of 9 gargantuan industrial zones of approx 200 to 250 sq kms. The corridor will consist of high speed freight line, three ports, six-lane intersection-free expressway that will connect Delhi to Mumbai, 4000 MV power plant, several industrial companies, industrial centers with world class infrastructure facilities. The industrial corridor project will be operated by the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation which is an exclusively developed independent body formed of government and private sector.To provide clear and investment friendly facility system, Integrated Investment Regions (IRs) and Industrial Areas (IAs) are the two market driven regions identified within this industrial segment. The investment region is particularly set down for the industries with the maximum area of 200 km whereas the industrial area will be minimum of over 100 km. There would be total 24 nodes sprawling across the 6 states, out of which 9 would be IRs and 15 IAs. 6 IR and 6 IS are implemented in the First Phase, the remaining nodes will be active within 3 to 4 years.<strong>How will the project benefit?<\/strong>Envisaged as Global Manufacturing and Trading Hub of India, Delhi-Mumbai industrial Corridor offers ample of opportunities and benefits that contribute towards the development of our country. The high-speed connectivity between the two metropolitan cities offers huge opportunities for the development of the industrial zone along the position of the connecting infrastructure. The industrial region with international standard and the state-of- art infrastructure have the capability to expand the local business, improve the foreign investments and perk up the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/india\/new-projects\" target=\"_blank\">real estate sector of India<\/a>. The project will render numerous employment opportunities.
