Even though there are multiple religious faiths in one country but still you can see the unity in diversity in here. One such religion is Jainism which is one of the ancient religions followed by good number of people in our country. Mumbai is a city having sizable Jain population. It is a fact that Jain community in the country is the most prosperous among others and the literacy rate is the highest in this community. This is the reason that usually Jain shrines are grand, spectacular and magnificent. There are many majestic Jain Shrines in Mumbai. Among these Babu Amichand Panalal Adishwarji Jain Temple is quite impressive. It is located at Ridege Road in Walkeshwar area of Malabar Hill in South Mumbai of Maharashtra. This grand temple was built more than a century back in the year 1904. Jain temples are usually richly carved with elaborate designs, colourful ornate sculptures and paintings from Jain scriptures. This temple is no exception and has all those magnificent features of a Jain temple. It is one of the most beautiful and large Jain temples of Mumbai city. The temple is dedicated to the first Tirthankara out of the twenty four Thirthankaras (also called Jinas or Arihantas) named Shree Rishabhdev or Adinathji as the name of the temple suggests. Tirthankaras are those liberated souls who have attained enlightenment or omniscience and are relieved from the cycle of birth and death for forever. They guide other souls to be the same. This process is known as getting Moksha and can be accomplished by taking the right knowledge, faith and conduct. Moksha is the ultimate destination of any soul who wants to be relieved from the cycle of birth and death. As you enter the temple you will see two beautifully sculptured stone elephants welcoming at the entrance of the temple. Inside the main temple there is a huge dome and when you look up at the dome it is adorned in vibrant colours with splendid zodiac signs. Thousands of devotees regularly visit the temple to offer prayers and worship the god. This huge and magnificent temple has idols of Rishabhdev as main deity and some other idols of Tirthankaras. You can see the brilliantly painted scenes from Jain scriptures. When you come out of the main shrine section in the courtyard you will see a small shrine dedicated to Shri Ghantakaran Mahavir who is believed to be a protector. He is considered as Deva or celestial being and if you worship him by chanting special mantra then you will be protected from any harm. The entire temple complex is very neat and clean just like other Jain temples of country. There are certain rules to be followed by each visitor as well as devotee. You are not allowed to eat or drink anything in the temple. One should remove the footwear while entering the temple. Females should wear modest clothes which mean no shorts, skirts or such dresses are not allowed. Females should not enter the premises if they are menstruating. The temple is a serene and spiritual place where anyone can come to find peace and solace but faith in almighty is the most important thing. God has different names and faces but the power is same and faith makes the power stronger. No matter what name you give to your faith or religion or your god but the ultimate power lies in faith. Path to can be different but the destination is same. Even a stone can be worshipped like a god and faith can turn it into power. One should not miss to visit this marvellous shrine.RUCHI MAHAJANзайм на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн

As we all know that India is a country of different religions and religious shrines.
