Over the course in life of humans, we have developed methods of recycling to preserve our environment and lower the trash amount accumulated in the universe. Recycling made us reuse the stuffs instead of throwing them. But there is always a limitation in the usage. And sometimes it&#8217;s boring. So once again, the human creativity knocked and created a new concept of Upcycling.<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20302\" alt=\"vinyl-clock\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/vinyl-clock.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/>What is Upcycling?<\/strong>Upcycling is a new concept of transforming old and unused items into something useful and beautiful. Imagine tattered cups getting used as plant containers or old bottles cut in a ship like design and painted with gaudy colours. It&#8217;s actually reuse of the products but in a more creative and beautiful way. When Reiner Pilz of Germany saw poor and brainless methods of recycling, he created a new method called Upcycling in 1994.However the method is not new. It is in use from hundreds of years by our ancestors. People have always made one thing to another. That is how everything evolved. Ask your old ancestors and they will tell you how they have cut the piece from an extra cloth and prepared a beautiful skirt. Upcycling is actually the way of life.<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20299\" alt=\"hanging-plants\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/hanging-plants.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/>Upcycling and Recycling: Sound Similar?<\/strong>Understand the process of recycling first. You sell the old newspapers and they were converted into pulp to produce new papers. Or the rusted metal is melted to produce new metal. But upcycling is totally different from recycling. It&#8217;s using the same product to make something new. This saves energy and water (which are needed in recycling plants). Recycling is done using scientific methods. But upcycling is varied as it depends on human creativity. It differs from person to person.<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20300\" alt=\"hanging-bulbs\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/hanging-bulbs.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/>What can be Upcycled?<\/strong>If you are not using something then upcyle it. Why let these items take the space in your room unnecessarily? Instead turn these bottles, cans, newspapers, milk cartons, tires, suitcases, jeans and everything else that&#8217;s sleeping into something stylish and useful.<em>Here are few Upcycling ideas to instill a new life in old and unused products:<strong><\/strong><\/em><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20297\" alt=\"wooden-shelf\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/woden-shelf.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/>Use Wood<\/strong>: Stack some unused wooden crates in a slapdash manner such that it looks like a book shelf. And not just that, but you can put some flower pots and various decorative items above it to make it look beautiful in a surreal way.
