But that does not mean we should not have the luxury of living in a beautiful and well organized house. Small spaces can have a lot of disadvantages especially if you are unable to accept living under a small roof. But if you accept it as your home and invest some time into decorating it with the right pieces it can compete with any big and luxurious house. Here is a list of the furniture every small house should have:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20208\" alt=\"storage-bed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/storage-bed.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><strong>Bed with Storage<\/strong>: A bed is an essential piece that no home can do without no matter how big or small. But for a small house more time has to be spent in deciding on the right bed and finding one. There are however some small and common features beds for every small houses should have. Most importantly the bed should have storage facility. Storage can be a big headache in a small house. A bed in a small house can take up a major portion of the room and all the space under the bed needs not go to waste. A bed with under-bed storage area is an excellent idea to maximize space utility in a small home. In case you want to maximize space in the children&#8217;s room you can opt for a double decked bed (if you have more than one child) or a loft bed that is placed on an elevated plane and gives space to place a desk or other articles underneath. This will not only help you utilize the space, your child will also love it! You can also go for a foldable bed like one that can be made into a sofa during the daytime. Convertible furniture is always a wonderful idea for small spaces.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20209\" alt=\"modular-shelves\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/modular-shelves.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><strong>Wall Storage<\/strong>: If in your small house you cannot afford horizontal storage, go for vertical storage. Wall cabinets are good option for creating vertical storage units. But solid door cabinets can make small rooms look smaller. Instead opt for wall storage cabinets with a combination of solid doors and glass fronted and open fronted cabinets. In this manner while you get to store your less attractive stuff in boxes, you get to display your beautiful stuff as well. Modular shelves are more attractive in design rather than regular box like cabinets. A cabinet covering the entire wall can also be quite boring to look at. So avoid this type no matter how much storage option it offers. Wall shelves can be found in all shapes, sizes, budgets and can even be used to cover flaws on walls. Mirrored cabinet fronts can also give the illusion of a bigger room. A small house also means doing without a lot of items that people with big houses do not even think twice before buying. But no matter what you have decided to do without there is no need to do without a comfortable place to sit in. You can buy a love seat or a small three-seater couch if a couch is you favourite option for comfortable sitting. However if you have no particular choice you can go for chairs that suit your overall room d\u00e9cor or chairs made to look beautiful in small places like bamboo chairs or accent chairs.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20211\" alt=\"glass-top-table\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/glass-top-table.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><strong>Convenient Tables<\/strong>: After putting in a study table and a dining table you may not imagine putting another table in your small house. But a small table can look beautiful as a center piece or for placing a lamp in a corner or other purposes. This does not need being told but if you are refraining from buying a table because it will only make your room look smaller, go for a glass topped table. And you do not need a table to place your lamp.
