Industry experts believe that this has been facilitated by the transparency and high quality provided by the online property portals not to mention the convenience and ease with which the portals can be used to obtain information about projects.As property portals in the market are rising in number they are becoming the preferred tool for buying, renting or selling of commercial and residential properties as the amount of information obtainable from these sites is much greater than from any other source.Experts who track the realty sector constantly have made the observation that property portals are becoming the first choice for consumers who are looking to rent a property. Therefore developers are thronging to property portals too. These portals are attempting to bring greater transparency to the entire array of buying and selling properties by increasing the quality and quantity of information available to end-users. The portals continuously update information and are better screened against incorrect listings and spam.The online real estate market is yet far from reaching the distinct level that has already been achieved by the online travel sector or the e-commerce sector.
