Besides the increase of the FSI, the committee has also demanded that the quality of the houses in the present societies should be bettered. A statement has been issued by the citizen group. In the statement it has been mentioned that the citizens have lost their properties in the flood and an appeal had been made to the Pune Municipality Corporation (PMC) to consider the request of granting permission to increase the FSI in the revised development plan of the city. The committee has also given some suggestions for the new development plan.In the second week of January the general body had already approved the draft for the development plan for the old city areas of Pune. It is a 20 year development plan that extended from 2007 to 2027. It was first approved in October 2012 by the city improvement committee. It has special provisions for a transport hub, a metro rail project, schemes for housing for the ones in need, expansion of main roads and development of the old Wadas.The older development plan was drafted in 1982 and approved in 1987. It was planned to be ended in 1997 but only 20% of the planned work was completed within the specified time. Therefore the plan was extended by another 10 years.<span style=\"left:100%;display:inline-block;position:fixed\"><a href=\"http:\/\/rusbankinfo.ru\/\">\u0437\u0430\u0439\u043c \u043d\u0430
