No matter if your lobby is small or big, it is essential to transform it into a welcoming space. Normally when it comes to lobby d\u00e9cor, we end up using some lighting or paintings but there are few more things which you can experiment with. Lobby is often looked upon as just a passage that connects to various rooms of your home but the same passage area can be transformed into an inviting and warm place which would surely catch attention of whoever passes from there.<em>Here are few tips which you can follow to accentuate your home corridor<\/em>:<strong>Walking library:<\/strong>If you are having an additional space then why not utilize it efficiently? Your lobby area can be treated as a mini library where you can fix a shelf on the wall and display some interesting books. You can also place a decorative standing rack and keep some magazines and newspaper.<strong>Multipurpose shelf:<\/strong>Keep your guests engaged in the lobby by showcasing some eye-catchy decorative pieces. Create a spacious shelf space and mount it on the wall. Display some beautiful show pieces, photo frames and also a key holder. You can place scented candles on the shelf so that your guests are welcomed with an aroma.<strong>Add wallpaper:<\/strong>If you have a narrow passage area and do not want to overdo then go for wallpaper. Bare wall looks dull, to make it bright add wallpaper or wall sticker that looks stylish and inviting. Like you have doormats with welcome written there are even wallpapers available in market that comes with welcome printed and attractive designs. This will make your guests feel special as soon as they enter your home. You can also choose for the wallpaper that coordinates with your home interior.<strong>Welcome the nature:<\/strong>If you want to add life to the space then plants are the best option. You can place fresh green plants or colorful fresh flowers. Remember lobby area doesn\u2019t have much air therefore chose plants accordingly or else instead of placing real planters, you can go for artificial plants. Flower vase with multihued flowers gives a fresh feel when you pass from the lobby.<strong>Illuminate the passage:<\/strong>The lobby area is a space which you first cross when you enter your home therefore light it up as much as possible. Try to keep it visually appealing. You can place striking pair of lamp shades on the stand or you can also mount wall lightings that looks stunning when lit. Light brightens up the lobby and make it look spacious.<strong>Collage photos or artwork:<\/strong>If you have a narrow passage then you can add collage of your family photos with elegant photo frames. To give more effect you can highlight it with spot lights. Similarly you can mount a large framed artwork that would easily catch attention .You can also highlight this art work with spot lights.
