Among these areas one is Linking Road which is quite popular as a shopping street than anything else. This road starts from Bandra Talkies and ends at Shanti Ashram at Bandra in Mumbai. You can imagine the popularity of this extending street by the fact that people from all over the city of Mumbai and even outside Mumbai drop in this street for shopping as they know exactly how they can find the best deal in town. It is not a new road but you may be surprised to know that this one of the first major roads that linked the distant suburbs of Bandra to Juhu in 1940s. Initially this road was known as Dadabhai Nauroji Road but now people commonly call this street as Linking Road. The official name of this street is Vitthalbhai Patel Marg (road).Now let me take you the shopping experience of this street. This the one place where you can find major international brands to cheap Chinese products along with lookalike fake articles that can confuse you or anyone else with the international brand product. So the first rule here is to be very smart while shopping for expensive stuff. Do not mislead yourself with low price of the product that seems to be very expensive as it may be a fake version. It does not mean that everything here on offer is fake item. You can get smart deal as well.You should also know how to bargain as the prices are quite flexible here. I mean to say whatever price of a product is being quoted by the seller you should start with half the price or may be less and you may be surprised when he will be agree to sell the product at that particular price. It is like a flea market where you get everything. You can expect here all sorts of shops from departmental stores, brand outlets, regular shops to street side carts selling a variety of stuff to consumers. You can shop here for clothes of high fashion, latest trends to casuals, accessories, shoes, slippers, belts, valets, bangles, chains, decorative items, glasses, bags, watches, furniture and much more.Apart from shops there are many small and big restaurants and cafes along the length of the road. The Linking Road has five-way cross roads. These are S. V. Road, Bandra Station Road, Perry Cross Road, Waterfield Road and Linking Road. This Road starts close to the Hindustan Petroleum Petrol Pump.Popular landmarks of these five cross road connecting to Linking Road are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gaiety Galaxy cinema<\/li>\n<li>Enfield showroom<\/li>\n<li>Bhargava\u2019s music shop<\/li>\n<li>Zenzi<\/li>\n<li>Red Box restaurant<\/li>\n<li>Seijo Restaurant<\/li>\n<li>RD National College<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While on Linking Road initially you will see only small stalls selling ladies foot wear, after that other big stores come like Metro, Addidas, Scandal, Van Heusen the fine clothing shop, Fila, Proline, Raymond, Nike, Reebok, Mufti, Dockers, Louis Philip, Wills Lifestyle, huge Benetton showroom, GKB Optical, Lewis, Spykar, OSIM, etc. The restaurants here include Sheetal, Samudra, McDonald\u2019s, KFC, etc. there are many banks located in the area like Axis Bank, Standard Charted Bank, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, etc.<strong>How to reach at Linking Road?<\/strong>You can easily reach here from any part of city using buses, taxis or auto rickshaws. You can go ahead along the Waterfield Road till it meets Linking Road. As the Linking Road will start you will see several small stalls in a row a good crowd at the stalls.
