At one time you get confused which one to select. What if all the designs are perfect and suit you, but you have to go with only one of them? Isn&#8217;t it puzzling? In this situation if you get a help from somebody around you to choose the best of them is a blessing. Similar is the case with buying houses. Taking the fact that you don&#8217;t have much budget constraints, variety of houses are available in the market viz. apartments, independent houses, penthouses, luxurious villas, condominiums etc. And if you were in a position to buy a house then you will be overwhelmed by the variety that has been provided to you to choose. Again the period of confusion starts. Apartment or independent house? It&#8217;s really puzzling, don&#8217;t you think so? Well, we will take an attempt here to break this dilemma and help you take a decision that you&#8217;ll never regret, provided you go with your instincts.<strong>On amenities<\/strong><strong>Apartment<\/strong>: Usually in apartment communities, several amenities like parking spaces, power back up, fire safety, water supply, security and maintenance is generally taken care by the association of the apartment and not much importance you have to give to them. In a reasonable cost, all these amenities will be provided to you.<strong>Independent house<\/strong>: Here you have to take care of all of these. You will be on your own and rarely will you receive any such amenities. It will definitely cost you more than in the apartment. Security might be provided but only at the main gate of your community. Otherwise if any problem arises then you solely have to fix that. You are the ruler of your house here and thus you have to work for it.<strong>On loans<\/strong><strong>Apartment<\/strong>: The home loans for apartments are easily sanctioned by the banks compared to the individual houses. Apartments easily get approvals and hence if a home buyer goes for a loan then the banks will provide the loan with much less hassles than the loan availed for an individual house.<strong>Independent house<\/strong>: A strict inspection of the borrower is carried out by the bank in case of availing loan for an independent house. It will also take longer time than the loans availed for an apartment. Moreover if you are buying a plot then the banks will only avail 60-70 percent of the overall amount.<strong>On construction<\/strong><strong>Apartment<\/strong>: This is the headache of developer and you don&#8217;t have to worry about anything. You will be handed the key to the doors directly after completion. However you are totally dependent on the developer here and cannot make anything of your own. You have to live in what is given. There might be delays in the delivery date which might trouble you.<strong>Independent house<\/strong>: In case of individual plots, it&#8217;s all on you and how you have to construct. You have to take care from materials to the building. Sometime it&#8217;s tough but you have complete freedom to make it as you wish. Individual houses provided by developers are also made according to the most of your choices. It&#8217;s simple; here you have the freedom to make changes as per your artistry.<strong>On maintenance Cost<\/strong><strong>Apartment<\/strong>: Repair-work, cleanliness and maintenance is undertaken by the association of the apartment community. As the resources are already kept stored for the maintenance, it&#8217;s easy to handle these works.<strong>Independent house<\/strong>: The cost of maintaining an independent house is clearly more than an apartment. It is already told that you are responsible of whatever takes place in the house. So you have to take the lead instead of complaining.Both apartment and independent houses have their advantages and disadvantages. It&#8217;s confusing at times. The cost of living in an apartment might be lesser than it&#8217;s contemporary but in an independent house, your freedom will never be hindered. So go with your instincts.
