In a meeting that included the CM and other hotshots of the Commerce and Industry Department, Siddaramaiah clearly nodded negative for availing clearances because he doesn&#8217;t want to sacrifice fertile lands of the state that reap important crops at the cost of industries.Many profiting proposals from the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board were also slammed. The projects that included manufacturing and power companies were also denied the acquisition of farm lands.The chief minister has straightforwardly said that it is not acceptable to grab lands from the farmers just because the industrialists shower heavy money. On the other side, the companies have felt hopeless because they went to the meeting with great expectations but in the end nothing was there in their hands.It is made sure that only if the land is unsuitable for cultivation, it will be given to the industries otherwise the proposals will be cancelled.
