Looking at the staggering figures of the month of April and May, an increment of around 24 and 15 percent respectively is marked (about 12,000 registrations recorded in the month of April). But what amazes the experts of real estate is that the figure of property registration achieved is a 31 month high. If we calculate, it will be approximately 20 percent increase Y-O-Y.This is a season to be happy for the Director General of Registrations and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).However if we dig the crust of this news, the reality will appear. The officials have said that this exponential increment is a result of lagging that has been prevailed in last three-four months.Various analysts from multiple firms have expressed their positivity for this year as compared to the last one. The starting months have witnessed strong results in sales registration but the last two months were the best till now.The figures received are mainly from Mumbai. Builders that have launched properties in prime Mumbai are Lodha, L&amp;T Realty, and Omkar etc; however the sales remain lower than the expectations.
