Currently, flexible workspaces is catching trend as it is lending a hand to cut down the real estate price and is also helping in maximizing the utilization of resources.The ups and downs taking place in the economy is making the companies tentative to take a concrete business decision for future. The businesses are not ready to take risks by investing in large spaces. The workspace providers offer office spaces on rent to the entrepreneurs, companies and individual business holders. In past 2 to 3 years, there is a massive increment in the demand for flexible office spaces. Businesses like large IT industries, pharmaceutical industries are majorly opting for this kind of space options.Normally the office space providers offer entire floor space, building or a part of floor based on the requirements. The space can be provided on hourly, monthly or yearly basis at an already fixed price. The standard use of the office spaces are 7 months to 12 months. The companies are benefited with ready-to-use office spaces as well as prime business location at an affordable rate. The companies are also benefited with service office spaced model where they have to pay only for the facilities they use. This model is useful for both the new business entrants as well as the established companies.Even the employees are content with flexible office space strategy. Nearly 60% of the employees feel that it offers better work- life balance. The exceptional demographic structure shows that it has attracted majority of the young working force in India. The employees have to travel lesser to reach their work destination and the working hours are also quite flexible.
