The same situation can be seen in financial decisions where people are often confused in terms of investment. Thus it is important to understand the pros and cons of both sides before taking any step.There are people who have performed excellently and earned much from real estate investments and there are many other who have made a fortune out of investing in stocks. But what is wiser? Real estate or stocks?<strong>Why Real Estate &gt; Stocks?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Real estate is concrete and has an intrinsic value. You can always touch, feel and boast of it. Owning a home is a matter of pride these days. It\u2019s easy and comfortable to invest in it and expect heavy returns.<\/li>\n<li>Investing in real estate means you are the sole owner of the property and you can do whatever you want with it. Live in it, rent it and leave it for the spiders to reside in, it\u2019s always your choice.<\/li>\n<li>The increase in property prices is well witnessed everywhere across the country. It signifies high returns, so why not get the profit from it? We can expect this situation in long time ahead in future only because spaces to live are highly needed and scarce. Investing in properties is one step ahead of making the future of you and your coming generations safer.<\/li>\n<li>For buying a property, if you are opting to go for home loans then again government gives you several tax benefits in income tax which is like a cherry on the cake. Tax deductions can be availed and even more if a joint loan is taken.<\/li>\n<li>The market situation for real estate stays steady generally and no sudden movement is expected. This makes the real estate investment a lot safer and reliable, unlike stocks where high and lows exist and it\u2019s dangerous to deal with it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For long terms real estate investment will give you diamonds and of course you can always have the star on your collar of owning a property.<strong>Why Stocks &gt; Real Estate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you see the current condition of stock market then you will find it in a rock and hard place situation. It is not very good in other words. However looking to its positive side where companies still progress and their share value increases with time, investing in shares would be a very profitable as it gives much higher returns in short amount of time but don\u2019t forget the point: dangerously.<\/li>\n<li>There is lots of liquid involved in it. If you need instant cash then try it. You can also buy or sell it instantly unlike real estate where buying and selling both are time taking process.<\/li>\n<li>The cost of investment may be less or more. Whereas in real estate it is always high because even if you take a home loan, you have to pay a heavy down payment. Stocks are available in both low rates and high rates thus making it an easier option to invest.<\/li>\n<li>It needs to study a lot of market and economy in a move to invest in stocks but once you get the command then you can make good money out of it . Also you will have always the option of moving out of the business and there is more freedom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Investing in stocks is quite risky but we can never forget that countless people have made fortune out of it.Real Estate and Stocks both have their qualities to prove themselves satisfactory in the world of investment.
