No one deny the fact how much it is important to learn science with fun. In today\u2019s time the way to teach students is completely changing from the first level of education that is pre primary level. If learning is fun it becomes easy for students to catch it and that is the objective behind creating such a wonderful Science Park in the city. This is actually third such Science Park in the country. The other two are in Mumbai and in Nagpur respectively. The Science Park is located opposite to Auto Cluster Morwadi in Chinchwad East at Pune in Maharashtra. Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) jointly shaped up this useful project in order to create interest in students about learning science. This place is not only for students but all age groups can learn and enjoy the fun activities of science and technology.The young kids enjoy the special learning instruments that are installed in the park. Each instrument is educative and good example to learn while playing. The spacious park is designed keeping in mind that hundreds of students can interact with teacher easily. The Science Park has five basic galleries and each one is defining some principle of Science and technology. The five galleries include Modern Automobile Technology, energy resources, Fun Science, climate change and the last but not the least is 3D science show facility.<em>A brief on these five galleries is as under:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The automobile section spread over 600 sq metres has interactive kiosks, models, 3d dioramas along with display of various automobile parts and their functions.<\/li>\n<li>The energy section displays different forms of energy, production, application, environmental issues, working models, future sources, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Fun section is an interactive and exploratory gallery to experience different aspects of science by visitors.<\/li>\n<li>In climate gallery it is tried to teach visitor difference between weather and climate, factors that affect climate and the complete climate system.<\/li>\n<li>There is a 3D Science show facility in the premises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can imagine the size of each gallery by the fact that each gallery can accommodate hundred students at a time. Apart from these interesting sections in the centre there is a Taramandal, Science demonstration corner and a children\u2019s corner. There is a Dino park in the Science Park. As we all know that kids and even youngsters are always fascinated with this giant extinct animal since the release of first movie on Dinosaurs that is Dinosaur Park and we are in love with this creature that we never saw in past neither we will see in future. Various types of dinosaurs are exhibited here along with sufficient information of them like their name, weight, size, food habits, their life time, etc. All of these sound interesting and motivate us to visit the centre at least once. You should note that if you want to experience the live demonstration corner then you need to visit the centre from Tuesday to Friday as it is closed on Saturday and Sunday due to huge crowd. There are various scientific instruments and experiments are displayed at the centre. It takes time to understand the significance of each one.Started just a month back it is receiving huge response from residents of city, parents and students. Everyone is so eager to explore the centre as soon as possible. Even parents are planning for their young kids to visit the centre as it is a knowledgeable place where you can learn with fun. It is a huge park which can accommodate good number of people at a time. There is proper and sufficient parking facility so that visitors should not bother about their vehicles. There are some strict rules inside the centre and each visitor needs to follow that. No carry bags are allowed in the galleries of Science Park. Plastic carry bags are completely banned in the Science centre.
