At the end of a long and arduous day you want to come back to a welcoming home where you truly feel you have left behind your worries. The people in your home are the most important factor who make you feel welcome. If the people are nice enough and you still feel bored of returning home then maybe you need to change the scenario a bit. We are not advising you to change the house, take a vacation or even to run away. The suggestion is only to give your house a makeover so that you actually feel more enthused about coming back home.A makeover may sound like a heavy job but there is no need to overhaul the entire d\u00e9cor. Just a few tweaks here and there and you can give your house a whole new look. Here are a few tips:<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-16500\" alt=\"throw-pillows\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/throw-pillows.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/>Throw pillow<\/strong>: Throw pillows are inexpensive yet refreshing d\u00e9cor makeover objects. They can add a new and colorful zing to your living room or bedroom. The best thing about basic shaped or square throw pillows are you can sew them by yourself from pieces of old clothing or if you want a number of patterns on a single pillow, you can stitch a number of scrap pieces of fabrics to make one throw pillow cover.<strong>Add new colors<\/strong>: You will never imagine how much new upholstery or a new bedcover can do for your room unless you actually see it. If for 6 years your sofa has been upholstered in blue and gold patterns change it drastically to red and black. If all your bedcovers had been mainly of floral designs change to something with Warli designs or geometric patterns. You can even change your curtains. It is not essential that you change all the elements together. Even changing any one of them is sufficient to add new charm to your room.<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-16501\" alt=\"art-wire\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/art-wire.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/>Cover the wires<\/strong>: If you see something every day you stop noticing them. You may have a lot of exposed wires around the house and never notice them. But how about taking an afternoon off and covering them with artwork? You can make a number of small and big artworks not just with paint but with different materials such as cereals and pasta and place them strategically to cover the exposed wires. Keep in mind not to only cover the wires but also to spread them around a bit so that to an onlooker it does not become obvious that you are trying to cover up something.<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-16502\" alt=\"accent-wall\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/accent-wall.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/>Color the walls<\/strong>: You do not have to color every wall of every room to give your home a new look. Color any one wall with a vibrant or rich color to make it the focal point of the room. Display beautiful artifacts on this wall. You may have to spend some effort to find the right color which will not only make the room more beautiful but also go well with your other furniture. However you do not have to keep in mind all sorts of wall color advice such as coloring a small room with bright colors may make it appear smaller. How much bigger can a room look with lighter paint anyway? A brighter room is a hundred times preferable to a fractionally bigger one.<strong>Rearrange the furniture<\/strong>: This is one of the most inexpensive and quickest way of giving a room a makeover. Shake things up a bit. What makes a room most boring is that it looks the same every day. When you move around the furniture you notice things anew.
