Builders are shifting their concentration on selling smaller and cheaper homes by copying the famous\u00a0sachet marketing strategy which was adopted in late 1980. The strategy was to create small size homes without reducing the price per area.<\/p>\n<p>Decrease in the GDP and hike in the property prices are termed major factors for the declination of home sales. Inflation in the economy is lowering the affordability of homes in the country. People are depending on their current salaries and not on the future increase which is making new buyers more conscious about buying a home.The market strategy suggests that the home sizes are needed to be lowered to satisfy customer\u2019s affordability. The builders across the country are lowering down their home sizes to fit into the market condition. Known as the affordable homes, these homes starts from the size of 500 sq ft to 1600 sq. ft. Though the sales count of the houses have lowered in past few years, people are eager to buy houses and are waiting for the so-called-affordable-homes.The congested Mumbai is offering as low as 639 sq. ft. homes to attract people. Same is the case with other cities; Delhi has projects with 500 sq. ft. to 1350 sq. ft. apartments. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bharatestates.com\/bangalore\/top-builders\" target=\"_blank\">Bangalore\u2019s builders<\/a> offer homes with 900 sq. ft. to 1150 sq. ft.
