Therefore this has driven the demand for resale housing properties in Chennai. Most of the residents are aiming to buy homes<\/a> near their work place and in locations which are in proximity to main city, residences in such areas are a bit expensive. Therefore resale properties prove to be beneficial for such location centric homebuyers. There is a major difference between the old and new residential property prices.Locations like \u00a0Besant Nagar, T Nagar,Mylapore, Adyar<\/a>, Velachery, Nanganallur which are some of the prime residential areas in Chennai and in its suburbs, the new residential units are quite highly priced than the older ones. In such circumstances resale properties plays a key role in attracting the prospective buyers. The price of the resale properties is calculated on the basis of the original market value, the current condition of the unit, depreciated amount of the building till the present date, value of furnishing, availability of amenities and other property related factors.2 BHK resale residences are catering more demands in the city.
