Lucknow Development Authority has played a vital role to make the city, the creditable capital of India\u2019s largest state Uttar Pradesh.<strong>Lucknow Development Authority (LDA):<\/strong>Lucknow Development Authority which was established in the year 1974 under the Association of Urban Management and Development Authority of India is majorly responsible for the progression and the upliftment of the city. This scheme consists of sector wise residential zones with sufficient commercial spaces, multiplexes and plots for schools.<strong>Hardoi Road Scheme:<\/strong> This housing project is situated in the proximity of the Lucknow Medical College and some famous historical places of Lucknow.<strong>Kanpur Road Scheme and Sitapur Road Scheme:<\/strong> These projects comprises of Residential colonies with basic amenities and facilities.<strong>Ashrayaheen Yojna:<\/strong> This housing project was helpful for the people who lost their homes during road widening, highway construction or other infrastructural development activities. It consists of about 8000 houses.<strong>Ambedkar Rally Sthal:<\/strong> It is parking lot developed by the Lucknow Development Authority<strong>Kudiyaghat Picnic Spot:<\/strong> It is a hangout place at Hussainabad Chowk on the banks River Gomti. It is one of the most venerable projects of LDA.The above projects are some of the prominent projects developed by LDA. This development authority is also responsible for the restoration of the recreational areas like Begum Hazratmahal Park, Laxman Park, Subhash Park and Parivartan Chowk.Apart from these, Tulip Residency in Gomti Nagar- a beautiful spacious housing project, Hi-tech and modern integrated townships on Sultanpur and Rae Bareli road are some of the upcoming residential projects by the Lucknow development Authority.The Lucknow Development Authority also takes an effort to make the citizens aware of the laws, policies and programmes related to the schemes and development plans.
