\"\"Commercial Real Estate property<\/a> means a real estate property used for operation of a business or space used by an organisation\u00a0 with purpose to generate profit.Commercial real estate refers to retail outlets, office building, shopping centers, hotels, warehouse, manufacturing facilities, showrooms,\u00a0 garages etc., any property which are used for business which are commercial in nature. The rates of commercial property are more than that of a residential property. Commercial real estate can be leased or owned. Commercial areas are usually have good infrastructure.A City has zoning system within its jurisdiction to define areas to be used for commercial purpose. In order to grant permission to build a new office complex or other profit-making business, the city government must agree on the chosen area is commercial property. The zones which separate industrial, residential and commercial property are marked on city maps. If the proposed business is in an area zoned for commercial use, then the city will allow the sale to proceed for the stated use.\u00a0 City planners encourage commercial businesses to congregate along busier streets and central downtown areas. This helps to keep traffic to these sites manageable. Some areas of the city may be designated for ‘mixed usage’, which means some commercial property may be used for residential purposes. A shopping area with apartments would be an example of mixed usage.
